Dr. Robert Davis Speaks on the Importance of the American Alliance of Museums

Every industry has a set of widely accepted procedures and standards that they are held to. It doesn’t matter if you’re a dentist, police officer or blacksmith, every industry works to create a network that is mutually beneficial for its members. That also includes the industries of museums, science centers, and other venues of the same nature.

The governing body that works to create the strongest network of museums, science centers, zoos, arboretums and more is the American Alliance of Museums. As a current member of the Board of Directors for the American Alliance of Museums, Dr. Robert Davis of Dubuque, Iowa works to demonstrate the importance of the organization and the value it holds to the community and its members.
